from Langson that the negotiations for finding members

for the Provisional Committee are still proceeding.

I am sorry to spear so pressing for the infor-

mation, vich I esaea in ay earlier letter, but I think

Jou will gree that your letter does not furnish it. I

note that e are said to have had Lampson's telegram of

thend of June: I cannot recall whether it was included

in the "general circulation" of Foreign Office telegrams

but there is certainly no trace of the receipt from the

Foreign office of any copy sent officially, so to speak,

to the Department.
